About this Event
This is a continuation of the Part 1 Fundamentals of Oil painting class. This class is ideal for the intermediate artist or those who have a basic foundation & understanding of oil painting.
Students will continue to work on composition and color through a series of exercises. Topics covered will be color mixing, under painting, perspective, understanding light & color impact.
Students will work from still life’s.
Materials you will need to bring to class:
• Bring an apron, old rag & something to drink
Canvas, oils, medium & brushes are provided.
If you prefer your own paints & brushes, & want to practice at home, consider a kit.
• Kits are available for purchase $58.00*
Kit includes –
o 10 tubes of Winsor & Newton oils 21 ml
o 5 synthetic acrylic/oil paintbrushes – filberts, flats & rounds
o Utrecht Oil painting medium
o 2 canvases 12 x 16
Kits are created on an as needed basis. If you need one, let me know at least 7 days before class starts.
