This class is for beginners - don’t be intimidated! Never picked up a brush before? This one is for you! We are going to create small abstract pieces that will help us learn basic watercolor skills. We will practice simple brush strokes that we will use to create texture, get a handle on how much water is enough and how much is too much, we will use primarily wet-in wet techniques, then add wet-in-dry strokes to create interesting textures and patterns adding some mixed media embellishments. At the end of the day we will have a better understanding of how water color paints work and how to use their unique characteristics to your advantage.

All supplies included in cost, but you are welcome to bring your own favorites to use!
